A recording has surfaced exposing a group of radical leftists in a meeting planing economic terrorism for a May attack on J.P. Morgan Chase. They planned to do this by organizing homeowners in mass to a mortgage strike, to stop paying for their homes and squat in them for at least a year.
Homeowners they planned to organize are explained as – people that are already paying more than their homes are worth.
The speaker, Steve Lerner of SEIU, explains the planned economic attack in detail:
“We need to figure out in a much more thorough direct action, much more concrete way, how are we really trying to disrupt and create uncertainty – for capitol for how corporations operate.”
“There are actually extraordinary things we can do right now to start to destabilize folks that are in power and start to rebuild a movement.”
“For example, 10% of homeowners are paying more than their home is worth, 10% of those people are in strategic default. If you could double that number, you could put banks at the edge of insolvency again.”
“So the question would be, what would happen if we could organize homeowners in mass to do a mortgage strike?”
“If we get a million people to agree, it would literally cause a new financial crisis.”
“We need to have a very simple strategy; how we bring down the stock market.”
“How do we interfere with their ability to be rich.”
“We have to politically isolate them, economically isolate them, and disrupt them.”
“A bunch of us around the country decided to think about who would be a really good company to hate? We decided that would be J.P. Morgan Chase.”
“We’re going to roll out over the next couple months, an exciting campaign about J.P. Morgan Chase.”
“That is really about challenging the power of Wall Street.”
“What we’re looking at is in the first week of May, can we get enough people together, starting now, to have a week of action in New York.”
“I don’t want to give any details because I don’t know which police agents are in the room.”
“The goal would be that we roll out of New York the first week of May, we will connect three ideas; (1) that we’re not broke, there is plenty of money, (2) they have the money and – we need to get it back, (3) and that they’re using Bloomberg and other people in Government as a vehicle to try and destroy us; so we need to take on those folks at the same time.”
“And that will start here. We are going to look at a week of civil disobedience – direct action all over the city and then roll up to the J.P. Morgan shareholders meeting which they moved out of new York because I guess they were afraid of Columbus.”
“There is going to be a ten state mobilization to try and shut down that meeting.”
“And then look at bank shareholder meetings around the country and try to create some moments like Madison, except where we are on offense instead of defense. Where we have brave and heroic battles challenging the power of giant corporations that we hope will inspire a much bigger movement about redistributing wealth and power in this country.”
U.S. District Federal Judge Roger Vinson in Florida has ruled “Obamacare is unconstitutional.” The judge passed his ruling on the unconstitutionality of the law’s individual mandate today. The federal ruling will affect the 26 states that filed a case against the healthcare law.
The U.S. District Federal Judge ruled today that Congress had went too far and overstepped its boundaries when it instituted the individual healthcare mandate, and he also stated the “entire” healthcare law was unconstitutional based on his conclusion that the individual mandate isn’t “severable.”
The Judge didn’t go as far as to issue an injunction to block the implementation of the healthcare law because “the party to be enjoined is the Federal Government, for there is a long-standing presumption that officials of the Executive Branch will adhere to the law as declared by the court. As a result, the declaratory judgment is the functional equivalent of an injunction. Thus, the award of declaratory relief is adequate and separate injunctive relief is not necessary.”
Federal Judge Robert Vinson went on to explain his decision in his 78 page ruling:
“I emphasized once before, but it bears repeating again: this case is not about whether the Act is wise or unwise legislation, or whether it will solve or exacerbate the myriad problems in our health care system. In fact, it is not really about our health care system at all. It is principally about our federalist system, and it raises very important issues regarding the Constitutional role of the federal government.”
“James Madison, the chief architect of our federalist system, once famously observed:”
“If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself.”
“The Federalist No. 51, at 348 (N.Y. Heritage Press ed., 1945) (.“The Federalist.”).”
“In establishing our government, the Founders endeavored to resolve Madison’s identified “great difficulty” by creating a system of dual sovereignty under which “the powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined. Those which are to remain in the State governments are numerous and indefinite.” The Federalist No. 45, at 311 (Madison); see also U.S. Const. art. I, § 1 (setting forth the specific legislative powers “herein granted” to Congress). When the Bill of Rights was later added to the Constitution in 1791, the Tenth Amendment reaffirmed that relationship: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” The Framers believed that limiting federal power, and allowing the “residual” power to remain in the hands of the states (and of the people), would help “ensure protection of our fundamental liberties” and “reduce the risk of tyranny and abuse.”
“McCulloch v. Maryland, 17 U.S. (4 Wheat) 316, 405, 4 L. Ed. 579 (1819) (.“This government is acknowledged by all, to be one of enumerated powers. The principle, that it can exercise only the powers granted to it, . . . is now universally admitted..”) (Marshall, C.J.).”
Federal Judge Robert Vinson concluded:
“I must reluctantly conclude that Congress exceeded the bounds of its authority in passing the Act with the individual mandate. That is not to say, of course, that Congress is without power to address the problems and inequities in our healthcare system, The healthcare market is more than one sixth of our national economy, and without doubt Congress has the power to reform and regulate this market. That has not been disputed in this case. The principle dispute has been about how Congress chose to exercise that power here.”
“Because the individual mandate is unconstitutional and not severable, the entire act must be declared void. This has been a difficult decision to reach, and I am aware that it will have indeterminable implications.”
“The individual mandate applies across the board. People have no choice and there is no way to avoid it. Those who fall under the individual mandate either comply with it, or they are penalized. It is not based on an activity that they make the choice to undertake. Rather, it is based solely on citizenship and on being alive.”
“Regardless of how laudable its attempts may have been to accomplish these goals in passing the Act, Congress must operate within the bounds established by the Constitution.”
Considering this is the fourth Federal Court ruling on Obamacare, the case will likely go to the U.S. Supreme Court.
A list of states that joined the suit are: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
Recently, the Obama White House and the Democratic National Committee have been waging attacks on the US Chamber of Commerce and republicans claiming that they are allegedly injecting foreign money into campaigns.
While campaigning on October 10th for Democratic candidates in Philadelphia at the “Moving America Forward” rally, President Obama attempted to raise suspicions about foreign money being used in campaigns by saying :
” Thanks to a Supreme Court decision called Citizens United, they are being helped along this year by special interest groups that are spending unlimited amounts of money, on attack adds … without ever disclosing who’s behind all these attack adds. You don’t know. It could be the oil industry, could be the insurance industry, could even be foreign owned corporations, you don’t know cause they don’t have to disclose. … the American people deserve to know who is trying to sway their elections.”
The Democratic National Committee released the following ad accusing and attempting to raise suspicions that Karl Rove, Ed Gillespie, and the Chamber of Commerce are spending secret foreign money to fund campaigns.
The first organization that alleged the Chamber of Commerce was accepting foreign donations for political ads was a blog, Think Progress which is affiliated with The Center for American Progress. They put out the following attack ad alleging the Chamber of Commerce was using foreign money in campaigns.
On Face the Nation, Bob Schieffer challenged White House Senior Advisor David Axelrod on the validity of accusations that foreign money is being funneled into campaigns – citing a New York Times article that states the Chamber of Commerce isn’t using foreign money to fund campaigns. Axelrod respondedwith continued attacks, one retort being “Do you have any evidence that they’re not Bob?” Apparently Axelrod operates on the assumption of guilty until proven innocent.

At a time when the national unemployment rate is 9.6 percent, one may wonder why all of a sudden the Obama administration and its allies are waging such a campaign of attacks on a business federation in which 96 percent of its members are small businesses with 100 employees or fewer; small businesses that account for three-quarters of all new jobs in this country. Taking a look at the US Chambers web site may reveal one reason why.
The Chamber of Commerce has a series of ads highlighting some of President Obama’s allies’ activities in California that has been harmful to businesses. Take a look at these commercials below.
Current law prohibits the use of foreign money for political advertising within the United States, but thus far, there is no evidence of the Chamber of Commerce using foreign revenue to fund it’s political ads. The Chamber of Commerce does collect membership fees from foreign affiliates, but that revenue is strictly used outside of the U.S. Foreign membership dues only make up a small percentage of the Chambers total income, which only adds up to $100,00.00 of a total budget of over $200 million USD. To date, the Chamber of Commerce has spent $25 million during the 2010 election cycle.
AmChams are independent organizations, created to represent American companies in overseas markets, and they do not fund U.S. Chamber political programs. Collectively, AmChams pay nominal dues to the Chamber – approximately $100,000 total across all 115 AmChams. Under our budgeting system, the nominal funds received from AmChams and business councils are used to support our international programs.
Whenever a new AmCham is formed and wishes to become a member of the Chamber, we have a significant vetting process (including an examination of by-laws and members) to ensure that the AmCham is not controlled by a foreign government.
The Chamber is proud to have global companies among our membership. Of the Chamber’s 300,000 members, a relative handful are non-U.S. based companies. Click here for more info on foreign companies operating in the U.S.
To point out how bogus and diversionary these claims against the Chamber of Commerce are, Democrats from the House and Senate received approximately $1.02 million from PAC’s during the 2010 election cycle, according to the Center for Responive Politics. In contrast, the GOP has taken approximately $510,000 from PAC’s on the same list. The Center for Responsive Politics list also tracked PAC receipts and disbursements up to September 13th with the Federal Election Commission and those statistics report that House and Senate Democrats received $6.5 million through PAC’s for the year versus $5.6 million for Republicans.
PAC’s generate all their revenue for political contributions from U.S. employees of subsidiaries of foreign companies. In layman’s terms, if you work for a foreign corporation, you and your co-workers can collect donations to send to a political party as a group of American employees like – Honeywell International, etc. All contributions are made public by the Federal Elections Commission rules. All PAC’s associated with subsidiaries of foreign corporations are under the same rules as American firms’ PAC’s.
When you take in to consideration that the Obama administration and some democrats have been demonizing businesses as big evil rich corporations, it makes sense why they feel threatened by the Chamber of Commerce ads. It’s because those ads show how Democrats and their policies have hurt businesses and employment in the U.S. in a time when they should be doing everything within their power to help businesses expand and grow jobs for out of work Americans.
In 2003 he was a keynote speaker at the Democratic Socialists of America national conference in Detroit – with the 2008 Obama Black Advisory Council member Cornel West and the first journalist to promote Obama on the national stage, the Washington Post’s Harold Meyerson
Democratic Socialist of America’s – Democratic Left -Spring edition in 2005, called Congressman John Conyers a key Democratic Socialist of America ally in Congress
Here are some quick quotes from the video:
“Conyers was introduced by the Democratic Socialist of America National director Frank Llewellyn. Boston Democratic Socialist of America member David Duhalde is seen on the right behind Frank Llewellyn – he has a beard, black shirt and a hat.”
“Llewellyn then says: John Conyers has long supported H.R.676 single payer healthcare bill this organization (Democratic Socialists of America) has long supported”
“Its good to know that a lot of my Michigan, Detroit and Grosse Point people are here. David Green, and Dave and Herman and probably others.”
“This gathering looks beyond the immediate geography of where you come from – it’s a Global Concept.”
“It’s a vision I think we share – that this world has gotten smaller – things are happening way away somewhere – too bad about that [insert disaster here – with sarcasm].”
“We’re all connected whether we want to admit it or not, and so as this globe shrinks, so does the commonality of the issues between us – begin to be less separated.”
“So I come to you this afternoon, to first of all, thank you for coming to the March [One Nation 10-02-10] – this is an important event.”
“We understand the significance of it – we know that when unions, political ideology, clergy, labor, civil rights – come together and just people that are Progressive enough to see in this One World Concept, that we’re all in this together – it makes certain things easier to understand – where we’re coming from.”
“Overriding it all is the quest for peace in the world. We’re bent on accidental or intentional nuclear annihilation – and – I support Congressman Dennis Kucinich’s measure that would make a Department of Peace in the United States Federal Government.”
“Then there is the question of the beloved 44th president. The fact that we’re still pursuing war at the same rate of the previous administration is something I believe we should organize and unite around and make it clear to him through all the usual means of communication including: picketing, protest – making it clear to him that there probably isn’t anyone above the 10th grade who doesn’t know that you can’t win a war in Afghanistan.”
“[Alleged by John Conyers] In 2012 there is a highly organized effort to make sure Obama is a one term president and it started even before his inauguration – I only mention the Tea party because they’re small and dismissible, but there are much more serious and affluent sources behind this effort it appears.”
“I’ve got to stand up for the principles I was fighting for before he ever set foot in Washington, but I also have to make sure he is reelected 2 years from now.”
“I see that us making him more cooperative with our plans will strengthen him and not weaken him.”
“And to have this press secretary [Robert Gibbs] of his denouncing the left – is an automatically dismissible act if I were president – that would be the end of it. We would send him with his bags packing.”
“The whole point is that trashing Progressives and the left at the same time watching your ratings go down – gee – what’s so difficult about figuring that out? So since there seems to be some problem with it and some difficulty, who’s job do you think it is to get him straightened out and on the right track? Ours!”
“I look forward to our next meeting.”
To summarize this all, John Conyers and the Democratic Socialists of America are rallying together to push President Obama, Progressive Democrats, etc., in to their socialist agendas by organizing, picketing, and the other “usual” means. It’s clear that John Conyers is working close with the Democratic Socialists of America to help implement their socialist agendas. John Conyers is a close ally and sympathiser of the Democratic Socialists of America.
First, if Dennis Kucinich has close ties to The Communist Party USA and shares their views, then should we all be worried about the Department of Peace he and John Conyers wants to erect? I’ll give you the facts and then you can decide for yourself.
The first 3 Communist Goals for America are:
1. U.S. acceptance of coexistence as the only alternative to atomic war.
2. U.S. willingness to capitulate in preference to engaging in atomic war.
3. Develop the illusion that total disarmament [by] the United States would be a demonstration of moral strength.
There seems to be a possibility that the Department of Defense is an attempt at de-militarizing the USA by getting rid of our last line of defense and deterrent to attacks, our nuclear weapons and missle defense.
Kucinich has had close ties to Communist Party USA (CPUSA) members since the 1960s. According to the World Socialist Web Site, Kucinich, during his years as mayor of Cleveland, “was closely allied with the Stalinists of the CPUSA.” During Kucinich’s successful 1996 Congressional run, he received the support of CPUSA-Ohio chairman Rick Nagin. In a 2004 report, CPUSA Political Action Committee chair Joelle Fishman singled out Kucinich for praise. In a July 2007 report to the CPUSA’s National Committee, Party Chairman Sam Webb urged fellow communists to “have a positive attitude toward the candidacy of Congressman Dennis Kucinich,” characterizing the latter as “a leading voice of the broad people’s coalition.” “The more he [Kucinich] speaks to audiences of the core forces,” said Webb, “the better positioned the movement will be to win in 2008 and to fight the good fight in 2009.” In 2008, Kucinich’s political campaign received support from Rick Nagin and the longtime CPUSA official (and Venceremos Brigade veteran) Bruce Bostick.
In June 2002 Kucinich was the leading plaintiff when 31 House members (30 Democrats and one Independent) filed a lawsuit against George W. Bush in an effort to block the President from withdrawing the United States from the 1972 Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty. In addition, the suit named Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and Secretary of State Colin Powell as defendants. Among Kucinich’s fellow plaintiffs were Representatives John Conyers, Jesse Jackson Jr., Barbara Lee, Cynthia McKinney, and Maxine Waters.
Also in 2002, Kucinich said, “We must challenge those who would make of any nation a nuclear target; challenge those who would threaten to use nuclear weapons against civilian populations; challenge those who would break nuclear treaties.” He was referring specifically to the United States.
Kucinich advocates the creation of a new federal agency called the Department of Peace (DOP), whose purpose, he explains, “will be to support disarmament, treaties, peaceful coexistence, and peaceful consensus building.”
Kucinich believes that clearly enunciated good intentions can win the hearts of America’s enemies around the world. “In the finest example of Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr.,” he says, “we can learn to confront our enemies with ahimsa, unconditional love.” “We must overcome our fear of each other,” he elaborates, “by seeking out the humanity within each of us. The human heart contains every possibility of race, creed, language, religion, and politics…. We need to create a new, clear vision of a world as one … where people can live in harmony within their families, their communities, and within themselves.”
Kucinich advocates drastic reductions in spending for America’s national defense, particularly the research and development of new weapons. He calls for further, though less draconian, cuts in funding for the modernization of existing weapons and military hardware. He favors the total elimination of research and testing for the Strategic Defense Initiative missile defense system. The money Kucinich would siphon away from defense spending, he would direct instead toward the Department of Peace and toward increased spending on the arts, education, transportation, welfare, and environmental protection.
The “One Nation” rally in Washington D.C. on 10-02-10 that was in alliance with over 400 Progressive organizations, some of them radical far left – seeked to organize and mobilize more people than the Restoring Honor 08-28-10 rally. The organizers were also trying to energize both the Progressive Democrats and their voters before the November 2, 2010 elections.
Micha Cardenas, a self proclaimed artist and activist professor at University of San Diego California, where he is a lecturer and researcher – publicly voiced in a video on May 2009 that he wants to dissolve the U.S.A or wait for it to economically collapse. Add to that, he is helping engineer software for cheap GPS cellphones embedded with explicit poetry to help illegals cross the Mexican border in to the United States. Center for American Progress Education Transformation Proposal
Discovered recently in the article “Education Transformation”posted on The Center for American Progress website, CAP (for short), is proposing policies to remove some essential educational programs and their funding under the pretext of Education Reform. The specific programs highlighted in this article teach American History, Civics, The U.S. Constitution, and Economics.
